Plot
Benny( Andy Lau )a young graduate flees Hong-Kong with Kwok Ying-nam (Alex Man)during the Japanese invasion and heads for gambling haven Macau. Once in Macau, he impresses a local business man Fu Lo-cha (Kwan Hoi-san )who has ties to organized crime ,Benny works hard and fall in love with Mui (Chingmy Yau). Cha was being kidnapped, and Benny is framed for the abduction which led to his imprisonment. Mui seeks help from Lok-yee(Joey Wong ),she goes to prison and helps him to recover from Malaria.Benny loves Lok-yee and she pregnants.
Benny then exiled from Macau along with Mei for a decade. They returns to Hong Kong, and Benny and Nam become real-estate tycoons, they decide to try for a casino license in Macau and slowly builds his way up the ranks of the Macau underworld….
